For all intents IRON as an alliance is dead. The remenants re-formed into REDEMPTION, a corp that is now running around Fountain. RAGE left IRON well prior to their last failcascade and eviction.

Chains of Chaos have been upping the action and RF'd a tower of ours (on a moon which we'd taken from them the day before).

We repped the tower up and thought that might be the end of it but then a fight did kick off, after all.

They warped to zero on gate and sat next to our forward group. We jumped in the rest and primed a Bhaalgorn of theirs and they jumped. Forward group went with them and tackled the Bhaal with a triage carrier to rep our guys. Bhaal died on that side and they reapproached and jumped again.

http://www.rooksandkings.com/killboard/?a=kill_related&kll_id=4812

We followed them again and dropped a triage carrier the other side, too - to trap as many of them as possible with a triage repping both sides (since each side would obviously be very outnumbered by themselves).

They then upped the ante by dropping caps on the original side (I was expecting them to drop to save the Bhaal on his side) which included two triage carriers and some combat fit. We brought all our suppoort in to my side and the fight kicked off there properly.

Our triage on the other side crashed and his cycle ticked over, so I had a tricky period of managing cap under heavy neuting, while repping support and self-tanking. With one triage against their two + other caps they had a lot of rep, and lots of dps on the field. I had to make a point of keeping Lord Zap's Bhaal alive to prevent them avenging the loss of theirs - plus it's an important ship at that stage Smile

It didn't help that our heroine Damnation pilot had gone out and no number of bat signals over Norway's finest boutiques (I presume) could summmon Princess Aricia. Still, I had an anti-neuting fit and though a few bs were lost to cap pressure (since going under peak and dying myself would have ended the fight), the 10 minutes ticked over with the fight gradually sliding our way. By then our other triage carrier was on the end of his unintended second cycle and we jumped him to this side of the gate too, along with a couple dreads to hit ther carriers. Although they were also jumping more caps in and fighting hard, the tug of war of the previous 15min had gone our way.

One of our primed dreads went down and another exited siege in time to be repped. After that too many of their caps were down to maintain logistics on their fleet and the dps edge of their larger bs numbers had fallen too far to neut/sink a dread in time (and they'd already tried on the triage in the previous 30min, after all), though they didn't give up.

Both sides fielded 9 capitals each in total; though for both sides some of those were people jumping back in after losing BS.

HARK had 24 battleships, an arazu and a couple inties. We lost a dread, 9 bs, 2 inties and a falcon.

COC had 40 battleships and 20ish support. COC lost 8 carriers, 38bs, 5 T2/Logi and 10 BCs.

Those numbers don't really do COC justice though, who I thought put up an excellent fight and fought tooth and nail to the last man. I like that Bhaal pilot too who died in the opening jump games and came straight back in an Abaddon for them.

Nice looking battle. R&K do a good job utilizing capital assets in smaller engagements.

Yeah, us 0.0 blob warfare don't get much of that. If we bring out 9 caps it usually doesn't go so well. Wink

Anyways, looks like a nice fight. Great to see you guys still laying down the hurt, and I hope to see it in your next vid! Razz

Legion of XXDeath and russkie friends are attacking a Deat Terrorist technetium moon, DT/WOLFY/F!NAL/AOS/N-M vs XIX/RED/?? in bos

Pos went down with both fleets starting at about 80vs80, russians kept titan bridging in more waves of bs and after about 50 kills and 10-15? losses our fleet warped off, and the russians finished off the pos.

Some DT/NM chased away a merc HAC gang in amamake before coming back to bosboger to meet up with the rest of the fleet and a ushra'khan fleet (in theory, lag is horrible) and warped back to the pos. We engaged with about 50 bs vs the 150+ russian gang on the pos anchoring a new tower, U'k tried to jump in but suffered grid loading lag and traffic control, fight is still going on, I died and cant relog but I still hear targets being called but it doesn't sound good for the DT fleet, weve just been outblobbed.

No capitals on the field, not much skirmishing except on the pos, DT+ fleet just left the field.

GF the first time, the second time the lag was stupidly bad. get on this shit CCP

edit: a couple boards so far

U'K came in...engaged...errr horribly laggy but you pays yer money and takes yer chances.

All I know is I ran around on the field in a Guardian...survived for over an hour and finally managed to dock after FC called it for U'K. I even whored a couple km's too :p

U'K KB is looking rather red at the moment. Probably won't get the full story for a few hours til the kb's get sync'd up.

Was the node reinforced?

From reading your posts, Garst, and from working with DT and the guys in F1NAL a good deal in the past, all involved on the anti-Russian side are low sec veterans. We know shit doesn't perform as well here as it does in most 0.0. Shit, I've lagged out with as few as 90 people in local with brackets off and my settings all tuned for max performance.

Yeah, it sucks that the lag monster bites you sometimes, but it'll bite the other guy just as often.

Other than that, good AAR, best of luck my brosefs in DT and F1NAL and sucks that y'all caught harsh shit from xDeath but knowing what I know about those guys, they're not likely to take it laying down.

Ushra'Khan joined up with Dead Terrorists and Final Agony just few minutes before fight, but half of our fleet (~90 total) was stuck on gridload after jumping in. After some time some relogged and started working, but still modules getting stuck ect.

Dunno about the node.

Hey fair dues to the reds...we jumped to them. Pewpew ensued.

I imagine somebody had a good time Laughing

I'm just laughing as after seeing my poor crappy Guardian gets beat up umpteen times during the fight and spending the best part of an hour trying to duck our fc to call repper targets.....I lived hahaha.

Once a lucky cunt...always a lucky cunt Cool
