I can confirm that this was true before Revelations, although I never had GMs teleport me to my fighters to scoop them, and several corp/alliance members have had fighters returned to them after disconnects using the stuck petition. I haven't had any disconnects since revelations so I don't know if they changed their policy.
As for the GM losing their temper, this is why I personally could never be a GM. I would definitly be utilizing the tools at my disposal at this point...

no, edit was intentional. i was angry and went ahead and posted it before i saw a post by ceo saying dont do that. i have the entire OP saved on my computer though if our petitions arent answered we are allowed to do whatever we want with the logs

nono I meant I was editing my post to include the part about the stuck petition but hit quote instead of hitting edit
