More RPers than you might think

OK, so own up. How many 'non RPers' have been following the recent news, and thinking 'oh that's cool'?

Especially those with Caldari or Gallente character who are now thinking militant thoughts about the other side?

I think the fact that the forums have basically caught fire with people arguing about the 'incident' is a sure sign that CCP Ginger is right - that everyone in EVE is a roleplayer already, they're just lower key about it than the 'obvious' RP entities...

Maybe I have been.

I am a carebear, but damn do i enjoy killing Gallente ships in missions, would be fun to keep that up in a better, more "real" way.

I've never been an RPer myself nor have I ever really followed any of the EVE lore or RP alliances or anything...

...but all the Nyx-crashing-into-stations stuff made me hard. Embarassed

not really into roleplay at all, two of my chars are achura just because of the stats. main concern now is that my trade/industry char is caldari living in placid >_<

I don't think of myself as an RP'er but after reading that thread I've been wondering which character I can spare from my current business. One of them is going to be wiping the floor with some french-man's face in the very near future. I can't believe those frog-eating bastards had the audacity to attack us!

I aligned Sofia, and Verdant Inquiries to Ishukone, although only slightly at the corporation's creation. Now, with Otro Gariushi dead, I am glad that I did. Sofia has a real motive to fight, although I'm not sure for how long.

Well i think we all pick our first character based on the story of our faction, and i think this is kind of resparking that euthanisim (sry for spelling) for our race.

TBH i cant wait to see the minie / amar incident

I have a second char that i have been getting ready for this. My main is a pirate his Style of play will put him on the fringes of FW no real ties to any faction, but may help the odd Pilot get to there objective for a price or the right motivation etc.

My second char is gallente, i feel a visit to the ishkone system is now required see if any emotions are stirred to help her decide if she should turn her back on her people. Or maybe she will find clues to hidden agenda's by the caldari that will enable her to fight to clear the gallente name Smile

Either way this is going to be fun
