While I can understand BoB bitterness towards MC I do actually hope that the alliance can recover from this. While politically they may have made mistakes (which could have been seen as acts of genius if things had turned out differently but heh that's how history gets written) the core of MC still comprises many fine leaders, many fine FC and many fine pilots.

I sincerely hope that the current situation does not lead to a total collapse and that MC can put up a good fight in PB and if it is forced out get back to what it was good at - kicking the shit out of complacent alliances across the galaxy.

If not my intergalactic summit suggestion for them to reform as an Amarrian Holy Order (Knights Templar style) fighting for Amarrian values still applies...

Slight combat related update - Skunk Works took out a 20 man gang last night and as 1-N was well under control by GBC forces, we went elsewhere looking for kills. PB is empty - most reds we found were docked up and the region was dead.

As was mentioned about KIA withdrawing - I can confirm that many of the KIA held stations only have minimal POSs holding sovreignty. It does, indeed, seem like no one will be fighting for PB.

On a related note, Q and Delve are just as quiet. Delve has a few pockets of Goons (319 being the most notable) - but they don't come out much. Querious is just good shopping due to the fire sales.

I saw mention of MC in Stain? Was that just a joke, or have we actually seen large forces of MC move to Stain?

The guy that gave to BoB the POS password is Krall Amarr, ETNY Titan Pilot- I don't know how are the standards in MC but I'd suggest you to kick him, pronto. Me and some other italian guys were determined to blow up his titan and started arranging a plan... eventually, me and Dianabolic got in touch via a common (not-aligned) friend and decided this:

-I'd pose as BoB high-profile spy in goonswarm, tasked to recruit him in RKK (lol). I even claimed at a certain point that I was a goonfleet director, although I'm in TCF (double lol).
-Threaten his titan under construction (Avatar).
-Obtain informations about MC.
-Possibly scam him out of some assets.

During some rather hilarious chatlogs, during which a friend of mine (who isn't even in BoB) posed as Galavet to convince him to contract some stuff to my alt, Krall Amarr went from "I'll never betray MC" to "I'll do whatever you want to save my Titan under construction". In less than a week.

GG indeed.

Now, since MC is folding anyway and even their titan pilots are selling themselves to BoB, there's no need to keep that poorly kept secret. Shame they couldn't kill his Erebus, which was the original plan, but we scammed him out of some isks and assets (and dignity) so it's all good.

Why did I do this? As others said before me: MC, Die. I'll add, Krall Amarr too

I think if you read through the various MC-associated posts and information from other folks you already have the answer, HyJek. But I'll reiterate. Tortuga was an attempt to provide an environment for mercs / independents to somehow survive in today's 0.0 warfare, without the need to pick a side, to remain relevant.

No offense to Exceed, eVoke and many other independent entities who are having tons of fun, but in the large scale of things they do not influence the game in the same manner that, say, BOB, RAWR and others do. The attempt failed, however, and there's only one logical conclusion that can follow.

I'd let a BoB higher up post it but as almost all have been banned from GBBS for minor infractions, they can't. Incorrect.
