That's my standard fit, though i fit a dual point (disruptor and scram).... which I often consider changing, but, i think it gives a good balance especially in small gangs, of being able to catch, and being able to hold, an opponent.

First fit i've made that makes me consider buying one :P

pretty cool actually. but most likely too slow to efficiently kite stuff. how about a t2 poly rig instead of the anti-em? you wanna reap laser users in the face with antimatter anyway as they outrange you.

I think having 0% EM is going to get you melted far too easily, especially with hax EMP falloff from our minmatarians now. However, adding 3% speed + Zor's bumps speed up to 1779/2542 which is a tad better. Dropping the anti-em for a poly with the implants gets you 1877/2682.

If i can find a t2 ambit rig tomorrow I shall test it and let you know how it fares Smile

I posted that stuff in another thread some time ago (the blaster poll), some lolled at it (terribad) but some thought that it's cool, here's a recap:

I have probably 200-250 kills with this fitting concept, it's awesome fun to fly in smallish gangs though I usually have HG or LG snakes in when using it so I do get extra mileage out of it... Go 2x TE if you want but I really like the agility I have, and I "go in for the kill" in to optimal (swap AM if there's time) when stuff needs killing fast.

That being said it's really fragile so if ISK is precious to you look elsewhere Razz

thats where you gamble. first of all who loads EMP against a deimos (nobody shield tanks them right?) second, who keeps emp loaded after they see the shield going down slowly on a kiting deimos (I need more falloff *loads barrage*). anyway, it cant be worse than the slow plated fits right?

also I predict phased plasma will be the new non-barrage default ammo for all minnies. its what I roll now.

Well IMHO and all but that EM hole is best plugged at least partially (like I do), especially if you end up in a small gang situation and are trying to keel Amarr, the DPS difference is not *so* big and Amarr always comes in pairs (or more) anyway, right? Very Happy

Plug a trimark on there. Has anyone tried using a dual prop setup with a Deimos (cruisers in general)?

I'm thinking about using this in a small to medium sized cruiser gang, with logistics/EWAR support. Trying to come up with a good gank fitting with an okay buffer. Doesn't look like a 1600mm plate is going to fit without dropping down to Ions, which is bleh.
