It's a shame to see titans, or any ship dying to lag without being able to fire a shot. But hey such is the game we play, for now.

This is so fucking epic.

Lag clearly isnt that bad for everyone or our titans wouldnt be able to load their grid and then DD theirs.

People have already started mentioning petitioning. This is wrongheaded: lag has been an element of the 0.0 equation since time immemorial and has never been a reason for reimbursement.

From the standpoint of a bystander (yeah I'm ex-sot, but I was only in there for like 3 days before I had to go inactive) its kinda bogus that any ships, let alone assets like supercaps, should die like that. Yeah its game mechanics, but it still really sucks. Crying or Very sad

They jumped in brah, they are now paying the price for taking assets like that onto a unreinforced node.

It's the same story reported in almost every major Dominion fight - if you've already loaded the grid (i.e. getting in place beforehand like the NC in Geminate), you're fine. If you haven't loaded the grid yet, you're screwed.

From this grunt's perspective, I initiated the titan bridge, actually entered Y-2 about an hour later, and never saw a grid again. My ship died about 40 minutes after entering system, my pod died 5 minutes after that, and I appeared in my mediclone system about 10 minutes after that, at which point I had to relog to actually load system. GF, CCP - if I am destined to die in a fire, at least give me the privilege of seeing those who will take my life.

IT and co planned well for this TCU defense. Hopefully, the servers will be fixed to allow tactics to have a place on the large fleet battlefield again.

(Anyone else feel really bad for the GMs? The next couple of days for them are going to suck horrendously. It's not their fault the techheads can't figure out how to dynamically allocate nodes.)

Eh, nothing of import to post. Latest patch is laggier than the last, and pre-loaded large fleet has a significant advantage.

Really balls way to lose a bunch of Titans that are actually brave enough to come out and fight regularly.

Red Titans in screenshot are dead already, hasn't updated yet.
